This book literally became a labor of love as Rick and I worked for about a year and a half to two years photographing his guitars. Each week he would bring 4 or 5 guitars into the studio and I literally flew my cameras around them to find perspectives we loved.

Then there was Rick. Every time we would get the film back, we would drool over it, compelling him to go out and purchase another beautiful instrument, or commission a custom guitar, and we would have to wait to include it. So at the end of the book is a silhouette of a guitar, "the next one." We consumed a lot of coffee during that time
